2022 Market Trends
The Destin, 30A luxury real estate market continues maintaining its growth and income potential with home prices in the Emerald Coast resisting inflation. Investors know buying a beach home along Florida’s Emerald Coast will provide a strong return on their investment.
According to Rocket Homes, the inventory in Destin is low and as of January 2022, homes in Destin sold for 22.3% more than a year ago. Beach homes in 30A (east of Grayton Beach) had 143 properties close and 158 new contracts secured for homes and condominiums combined which is 60 more than December 2021.
This rapid demand for real estate has real estate experts suggesting Florida has become America's hottest real estate market. There is less inventory in the market than last year and 71% of homes sold in less than 30 days in Okaloosa County and 51 days in Walton County. Each county has limited inventory though and real estate agents predict this will continue being the trend for 2022.
